Reversion to Online Lessons for
Primary & Secondary Students
(17 May to 13 June 2021)

 

 

Just past midnight this morning (15 May 2021), The Straits Times published an article (based on a statement by MOE last night), that “While private tuition & enrichment centres may continue operating, they should consider online lessons as the default arrangement during this period of heightened risk.”

​

Given this advisory and the heightened national Covid-19 safety precautionary measures, Mind Stretcher will be reverting to online lessons for a tentative period of 4 weeks (17 May – 13 June). This will apply to all our Primary & Secondary School students.

Please kindly take note of the following:

​

1. Online Lessons

​

All online classes will be conducted via Zoom, at the same timing as your child’s current physical class(es). Links to your online class(es) will be sent to you via email before the class. Do download Zoom (https://zoom.us/download) so that you can access the online class easily.

​

2. Collection of worksheets

​

Kindly collect your child’s worksheets for the coming lessons from the various MS centres that your child is attending physical class(es). For better crowd control, kindly book your appointment with us @ https://www.mindstretcher.com/ms-appointment.
 

• If your child is having his/her first lesson from Monday – Wednesday next week, kindly collect the worksheets from Sunday (16 May 2021).
   
• If your child is having his/her first lesson from Thursday – Sunday next week, kindly collect the worksheets anytime from this coming Monday (17 May 2021).

3. Pre-Recorded Lesson Videos on MS e-Study Buddy

 

Your child can continue to make use of our MS e-Study Buddy platform (https://mindstretcher.shop/e-studybuddy) to watch the pre-recorded lesson videos to recap & reinforce his/her learning. These videos also serve as ‘makeup lessons’ for students who have missed any lessons.

4. Pre-Primary Classes

 

Given the relative difficulty of conducting online lessons for young children, lessons for our Pre-Schoolers (P1 Prep for K1 & K2, Phonics & Reading) will still be conducted physically at our centres.
